Common questions from hospice programs
What types of nurses do you provide?
Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for PRN and per diem coverage. Every nurse is background-screened and credentialed before a referral is made.
Are the nurses Outreach employees?
No. Nurses referred by Outreach are independent contractors (1099). As Florida law requires, we verify each nurse’s license, background screening, and credentials, keep that documentation on file, and make the referral. Each nurse practices under their own license and within your program’s plan of care. Outreach does not direct or supervise the nurse’s clinical care.
What settings do you staff?
Hospice and palliative care programs across Florida, in both in-home and inpatient settings.
Is this PRN only, or can you cover repeat needs?
We’re a PRN service. Send us each gap as it comes up, including repeat needs, and we’ll work to cover it. Every referral is a separate PRN assignment that the nurse accepts individually.
Who do we contact if something comes up during a shift?
Us. Our office stays reachable around the clock, seven days a week, not just at the time of booking.
